Monday Wake Up Makeup

I thought today I would post something that is near and dear to my heart. Covering up my tired face after a lack of sleep, which was my reality this morning. (Thank you night construction crew & myself for accidentally setting my alarm for 5am instead of 6:30. Good job me.)

- I use Cetaphil face wash then follow up with Cetaphil SPF 15 Face Moisturizer. I mix in a tiny amount of Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer; a little goes a loong way
- Benefit Erase paste comes next. I get the amount I feel I need and dab it under my eyes. To blend, I use my finger and move from side to side till it's all even then any other place I think needs some cover (I.E acne scars, it works wonders.)
- I have been using Bare Minerals for six years and swear by it. Simply get some powder in the cover, swirl the brush around, tap off the excess powder then buff it into my skin. The more you buff the better it looks.
- For blush, I prefer Bare Minerals All-Over Face Color in Bare Radiance. Same three moves as the step before: swirl, tap, buff over the apple of my cheeks, bridge of my nose, forehead and chin (anywhere the sun would naturally hit my face.)
- Benefit High Beam really makes the difference; use the wand and dab the dots from the top of my cheek bone to my temples. Gently blend upward.
- This classic never dies or fails me, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara waterproof in very black.
